Join FAB and Brides Miracle Network at the LUXE Bridal Event on Thursday, February 28 for a FABulous Designer Wedding Gown Sale being held at the Hult Center for a 4 HOUR SALE! This is a FABulous event for local brides to find the perfect vendors for their upcoming wedding, and to shop for their designer gown at huge discounts!We are excited that you are interested in being a part of our event and spreading the spirit of kindness and philanthropy as you assist brides-to-be in finding the gown of their dreams!! Below are the details for the LUXE Bridal Event in which FAB is included.Thursday, February 28, from 5:30 pm - 9 pmHult Center 1 Eugene Center Eugene, OR 97401SET-UP BEGINS AT Noon ~ Door open to brides at 5:30 pm! SIGN UP FOR SHIFTS! Above you will see different volunteer shift(s) for the event that we need filled. Just click on the different shifts to reserve your space. No tickets are required, so there’s no need to print out the confirmation letter emailed to you. By registering, you are reserving your time slot. Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your shift starts, so we can show you around. If you helped with set-up, please arrive ten mintues prior to your shift. When you arrive, please check in at the front desk.We will begin setting up the gown sale beginning at 6 am, with doors opening to brides at noon! We will need extra help for set up and tear down, so if you can make it for 1 of these shifts, it will be greatly appreciated. We want to work around your busy schedule, so if you can't make it for an entire shift, that's okay. Just show up when you can and stay as long as you can - even a few hours is helpful! Feel free to spread the word about this event and invite your friends, family members and colleagues to join you! VOLUNTEER TASKS Volunteers will be able to choose what type of task they’d like to do at the event. We need multiple people helping with the different tasks. 1. Check-in – Sign in brides as they enter the event.2. Bride Greeter – Inside sale area greeting brides and informing them of the sale floor layout. 3. Dress Runner – Help restock gowns and returning gowns from the “go back rack” to the sales floor. 4. Dressing Room Help – Assist brides inside fitting room, helping them try on gowns, removing gowns they don’t want. 5. Dressing Room Attendant – Assist brides and volunteers with gowns and ensuring gowns are properly prepped to be returned to the sales floor. WHAT TO WEARPlease wear dressy attire for theevent such as black or khaki pants or skirt. more casual attire is okay for set up/tear down. We encourage volunteers to wear comfortable shoes as they’ll be on their feet most of the time. Volunteers will be given a volunteer T-shirt at the event or they can wear their favorite charity T-shirt so they can spread the word about their cause and to hopefully get people involved. SUPPORT YOUR FAVORITE CHARITY The mission of Brides Miracle Network is to provide a platform for brides and bridal retailers worldwide to promote the spirit of kindness and philanthropy, and to hold a vision of how they can make a difference in our world, and in the lives of others by “Paying it Forward.” Each of our local volunteers is invited to bring literature, details and pledge cards for their favorite charities, and to share same with those attending FAB events nationwide. Brides will receive up to an additional $100 off their wedding gown when pledging a donation to their favorite charity in honor of their upcoming wedding! This mission includes: Encouraging random acts of kindness, as shown in daily work and actions. Encouraging couples around the world to make a donation or pledge to their favorite charity in honor of their upcoming nuptials Encouraging brides and bridal retailers to use Breast Cancer Research Stamps in all bridal communications Using every opportunity to bring hope and peace to those who share our world Although it is the penchant of the founder of Brides Miracle Network to promote the search for a cure for breast cancer, it is understood and assumed that every individual or business joining with us will each have their own personal charitable cause which they chose to support and promote. It is our hope that together we can bring awareness and funding to each cause; and that together we can make the world a better and more caring place for the seven billion plus souls, with whom we share our planet.
