WHAT: On Thursday, February 14, Upstairs at the Kimberly Hotel is offering its dining lovebird’s both romance and delicious cuisine on Valentine’s Day with an unparalleled view of Manhattan’s skyline. Not to worry, Upstairs’ rooftop is perfect for year-round accommodations with a retractable roof, heated floors and an indoor space so it’s as elegant in the winter as it is in summer.Guests can choose from a pre-fixe menu that will include a choice of 3 small plates, 2 desserts and 4 cocktails for $100 plus tax and gratuity (or order a la carte). Menu selections include stuffed mushrooms with goat cheese and pesto, truffled mac and cheese, spiced duck cigars with a pomegranate dipping sauce and grilled lamb chops with a ratatouille nicoise. There will also be a special dessert trio featured that includes Candied Milk & Cognac Mousse, Dark Chocolate Pot de Crème & Passion Fruit and Yuzu Ice for $11. Additionally, guests can sip Upstairs’ signature Chrysler cocktail named for the venue’s stunning view of the Chrysler building or the Midtown, which is perfectly red in color and sprinkled with rose garnishes to celebrate the day of love.
